The main goal when developing this application was to create an easy-to-use, cross-platform panoramic imaging toolchain based on Panorama Tools. The result is called Hugin and enables you to assemble a mosaic of photographs into a complete immersive panorama, stitch any series of overlapping pictures and much more. The usage of Hugin is pretty intuitive: select the images that will build your panorama and set their control points, that is, the common image areas on every picture. Then customize the correction degree applied to lenses and image orientation and you're done. You can take a look at some panoramas created with Hugin in their Flickr account.
