Freetech P8F189 Bios 189-3

New BIOS release Specifications: Intel 945GM Chipset The Mobile Intel 945GM Express chipset's low power design enables up to 28% less average power consumption compared to previous generations. Featuring the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950, the Mobile Intel 945GM Express chipset delivers up to 2x improvement in graphics performance over the previous generation chipset. The Mobile Intel?945GM Express chipset enables up to 25% higher data transfer rate compared to the previous generation bus speed. Additionally, it features PCI Express* x16 graphics ports and PCI Express x1 I/O ports, next generation Serial ATA, and Hi-Speed USB 2.0 connectivity. Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 950 The new Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 (Intel?GMA 950) graphics core is an intelligent and responsive graphics engine built into the chipset that is on the motherboard. This integration provides incredible visual quality, faster graphics performance and flexible display options without the need for a separate graphics card. DDR2 Memory The objective of the Intel validation program for DDR and DDR2 is to verify DDR/DDR2 SDRAM compliance to the Intel specifications for DDR/DDR2 and performance of supported DDR memory modules in Intel reference systems, so as to provide a guideline for memory compatibility with Intel chipsets. This validation will be performed by an approved test lab on a small sample of components and modules and is intended to demonstrate supplier design and manufacturing capability. The validation process uses standardized procedures and methodologies documented in the Intel Validation Procedure for DDR and DDR2. For a copy of the procedure, contact the test lab. This documented procedure is not intended to replace the normal product qualification process USB 2.0 The current version of USB, revision 2.0, is a higher speed (480Mbs) version that is also fully compatible with USB 1.1. It provides up to 40 times the bandwidth of the old USB 1.1 and is completely backward compatible with older USB hosts. New hi-speed USB 2.0 hosts also support the older USB 1.1 devices in the same tree as the new hi-speed products Realtek ALC655 Audio Codec The ALC655 is a 16-bit, full-duplex AC'97 Rev. 2.3 compatible six-channel audio CODEC designed for PC multimedia systems, The ALC655 incorporates proprietary converter technology to meet performance requirements for PC99/2001 systems. The ALC655 CODEC provides three pairs of stereo outputs with 5-bit volume control, a mono output, and multiple stereo and mono inputs, along with flexible mixing, gain, and mute functions to provide a complete integrated audio solution for PCs
